Launch of Evengran: Curated Vintage Stories

Evengrain hasn’t appeared overnight. For the past few years we’ve been working quietly in the background – sourcing, learning, testing ideas and slowly building a collection that feels true to how we see design.
Most of that time was spent off‑camera: early starts at markets, long drives to view a single sideboard, conversations with restorers and craftspeople, and a lot of trial and error about what should and shouldn’t make it into the collection. Alongside that, we’ve been shaping the visual side of the brand – photographing pieces in the studio, refining how we talk about them, and building a website that reflects the calm, considered spaces we’re drawn to.
The result is a new site and a live stock list that brings all of this together in one place. Every piece has been chosen for its design, build quality and character, with a focus on mid-century furniture and studio-made objects that feel honest and usable rather than purely decorative. Some are by well-known makers, others by skilled, unnamed hands, but all share a certain clarity of line and material.
Going live is just the visible part of a longer process, but it feels like the right moment to open the doors and invite people in. Whether you’re looking for a single sideboard, a chair for a quiet corner, or a ceramic that finishes a shelf, we hope the collection gives you a sense of the care that’s gone into it.
This is the starting point for Evengrain online. We’ll continue to add new pieces, share more from the studio, and look for ways to connect furniture, art and objects in a thoughtful way. Thanks for being here at the beginning.
