Bespoke storage wardrobes designed by A-nrd are sculptural forms with shelving and storage made from green veneer with oak detailing and raw steel accents. Created exclusively for the Birch Seldon Hotel.

 

A curtain in recycled linen by the Yarn Collective adds a softness to the design, with a round marquetry detail made of veneer offcuts by London-based artist Chelsea Vivash that adds decoration.

 
These Bespoke storage wardrobes are handmade in London using a mix of traditional joinery and advanced digital carving techniques—a kind of “digital craftsmanship” the studio is known for.
 
Part of a bespoke collection celebrated for blending industrial materials with playful, high-quality woodworking, this is storage that reads like functional sculpture. 
 

We have fifteen Bespoke storage wardrobes designed by A-nrd available, and they’d be perfect for a small boutique hotel or a spacious bedroom. These are custom-made pieces, and we’re genuinely thrilled to have a small selection in stock and ready to place.

 
Built around a minimalist blackened/raw-steel frame, these Bespoke storage wardrobes designed by A-nrd integrate a three-drawer chest and staggered open shelving in a distinctive green-stained veneer, creating a soft-brutalist silhouette that feels both architectural and refined.
 
The cabinetry combines sustainably sourced timber with through-coloured Valchromat, and the studio’s signature oversized, tactile mushroom knobs add warmth, character, and a satisfying sense of touch. A softly draped recycled linen curtain by The Yarn Collective brings movement and an elegant contrast to the steel structure.
 
A standout detail is the circular marquetry panel by London-based artist Chelsea Vivash, crafted from veneer offcuts to form a landscape-inspired geometric focal point. It’s not only the visual centre of the piece; it also forms the hooks themselves, bringing function and artistry together in one beautifully considered gesture.
