Louis van Teeffelen spent his entire career designing for Wébé, producing furniture that balanced Scandinavian restraint with a distinctly Dutch warmth — and the Scissor Chair is among his most enduring achievements.

The chair takes its name from the elegantly crossed X-frame legs — a structural flourish that doubles as the defining visual statement. Crafted in solid teak with the characteristic honey-toned grain of the period, the frame sits in precisely the way good Mid-Century furniture should: purposeful, considered, and unhurried.
