A substantial stoneware lidded pot with a strong, barrel-like form and bold banded decoration. The body is thrown in a warm, speckled clay and finished with alternating stripes of matte, textured brown and glossy ochre glaze, giving it a quiet, graphic rhythm. The simple lid and straight sides keep the silhouette clean and functional.
